Deep ruby. Cigar box on the nose. On the palate high acid, high tannin, full body blue fruits and new oak, long finish. In a great place but for my palate it needs more time.

Dominated by black pepper, mineral tones and blue and black fruit, it’s bright and alive, and so easily confused for n Rhône Syrah. Oak fully integrated but the richness of Italy. Such an interesting wine

Well made. Balanced tannins/acid/fruit. Suggestive of Cab Franc in fruitiness, Merlot in softness, Syrah in body and appearance, and Grenache in pepperiness. Generous nose. Overall more akin to Rhone than Bordeaux, but truly its own thing. First glass delicious by itself. Second glass delicious with grilled, dry-aged beef.
