Holding together quite well. More stone fruit on the nose with some melon. On the palate there is the unmistakable imprint of oak, nicely balanced with more of a lead to citrus and stone fruit (again). A touch of cashew as well. Medium long finish with a hint of bitterness which is not unattractive.
I've not had a great experience with ageing the Lake's Chardonnay recently (the 15 being particularly disappointing), but this one is holding its own. I wouldn't keep it for long though

NO. Unremarkable. Bought from the owner at the vineyard shop; talked up. But had little to it beyond a pleasant acidity and lean fruit. Don’t get the fuss.

Started a bit austere but opened up over a few hours. Nice toastiness to go with the hints of tropical fruit. A good line of acidity driving this along early, loads of potential. Excited to see it develop over the next 4-5 years. 92+
