Green gold colour, rich slightly funky nose with lees notes. Concentrated densely extracted melange of fruit that is citrus accented with a bit of warmth form the high alcohol. Moderate length finish with perhaps slight hint of bitterness right at the end. A hint of butter popcorn/lipstick as esters. no signs of peak development yet, can go another 5 years easy. My last bottle. The best thing about this is the full mouthweight/density. The lacking thing is the fruit isn't quite up to the job of providing tertiary interest or complexity.

Initially lemon and slight floral notes then gains some peachiness, butter, cream, honey and toast. In the mouth it's got juicy acid, lemon and peach, butter, alcohol warmth and a a little mid palate burr. Medium plus length. the alcohol is a little high for the wine but otherwise nice.

Gleaming colour, stone fruit, lees complexity, integrated oak and lovely acid. Singing. 14% ABV.

Mid development. Really nice. Just a level below excellent. At 14% the alcohol is poking through and obvious unfortunately. Detracts slightly.
