  • A lovely golden colour gives evidence of wine's age but she is still in very good nick. A beautiful soft and welcoming palate which, if anything, is just perhaps a bit full and lacking a bit of elegance. Nonetheless, this is a particularly enjoyable Chardonnay showing some nice toasty characteristics, ripe melons and burnt butter. Texturally it is also quite silky but with a slight angular finish which throws the balance off just a little. Can't see a lot of improvement in the pipeline so drink now.
