  90+. Starts with blackness and power and immense grip and for 5 minutes it's not unreasonable to think you've walked into a black wall. Even hard, for a second, to know you're in the presence of Nebbiolo (though that grip would help you get there). 10, 15, 20 minutes later all manner of aromatics begin to lift up. Best an 1-2 hours in, but still developing and still has time ahead of it. Just a delicious piece of work for the slightly over $30-ish price paid at Vintage Berkeley.

  D3h. Mature garnet red, yellow tinged, 4.5. Evolved complex bouquet, dry roses, old casks, tar keeping an airy dimension. Elegant harmonious palate, sappy, tannins on retreat, long elegant finish. Drink now-2029
