  Smooth and ice tea and more smoky than the usual fruit bomb. However 16.7% alcohol making itself felt towards the end.

  Double decanted for an hour, really good zin, but no better that Turley or Carlisle for twice the price; delicious, drink or hold

  Wine doesn't get much better than this. Intense, concentrated, energetic, well mannered. Terrific.

  Ruby, translucent. Thought at first of a pinot noir. Nose had red fruits but also a definite acetic component typical of many zins. Medium-full body, nice fruit, not too much tannin. I have not liked this wine the few times in the past I've tasted it, but it was excellent this time and perfectly ready.
