Some waxiness and black licorice. Guessed it to be a white rhone but not viognier, as I didn't sense the typical permued aromatics of the grape.

Pre-Poker Blind and Not (Main Street Wine Cellar, Seal Beach, CA): Served blind. The nose gave the character of an old aged white that shouldn't have been held onto. Showing oxidation on the palate and seeming nearly done though still expressive.
Fruity...and hot. Short finish. Creamy vanilla loaded with peaches and melon. OK - but the heat really dimished the flavor in my view.
buttery in texture, not too sweet, hints of honeydew and vanilla with a bit of heat on the finish... good stuff..
Apricot out the wazoo. Delightful.
