Yellow-golden, excellent color; aromatic, quince, hint of mint; medium-bodied, quince, mostly primary fruit with some slight wooliness, exceptionally balanced with medium alcohol, medium-plus acidity, richly textured without being heavy; long finish. Excellent Huet demi-sec, still on the youthful side with decades ahead of it. 93 Day 2: Good, but not quite as strong of a showing today. Better on the first day.

PnP that seems like it's already in the zone. Or, maybe it's just toying with me, and it's half asleep. Either way, this bright gold colored wine clear and pretty. There's an avg+ intensity to the perfumes and flavors - nothing profound - and a nice harmony from first glass thru the final one the following evening. I think this is still developing, though what seems a rather low rs will likely keep this from being a super-ager. Such is my fate, too. Drink now or hold, as you prefer.

Hardly any residual sugar, good acidity, red apple, some spice, pear, some nutty notes. Quite elegant on the palate.

Deep gold. So complex; balancing the suggestion of sweetness with juicy acidity. Full spectrum of chenin aromas/flavors. Long way to go.
