Dark black fruited with violet highlights. Swept concetrated lush fruit with a strong white pepper edge and a bit of olive. Pepper really dominates the finish. Excellent.

2 1/2 hour slow ox. Nose: Hints of herbs and brambly fruits although somewhat stewed and a bit hot from the alc levels (cooling slightly in the fridge helped mitigate this). Palate: Very soft styled with the stewed, black fruits and roasted olives. Quite odd for a Carlisle Rosellas and maybe a bit off so no score given to keep the stat values consistent. If scoring this would be an 87 pointer so you know somethings off.

P&P. Very rich and mouthcoating, super concentrated flavors too. Black raspberry, pipe tobacco, espresso coffee, finishing with hints of dark chocolate. Really delicious...sad it's my last bottle of this vintage. Drink now - 2030.

A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark black ink in color. A full bodied red, with blackberry, blueberry, spiced flavors on long finish. www.winelx.com
