My bottle seemed to be tired. Tight acidity on the palate that didn't open up over 3 hours and a lack of finesse or style that would usually come with age for a magnum. I would drink it a few years ago and maybe it would have been a bit better, but hard to tell.

This is past its prime. Still tannins, but thin and lacking much body to the flavor. Short finish, wish I had opened several years ago.
