Company dinner at Novotel. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of almond nut, wet stones minerality, citrus yellow lemon with bit of curd, ripe peach. Developed. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavorus of ripe citrus yellow lemon with some curd, ripe peaches, wet stones minerality, nice touch of nutty oak. Long finish. very good quality. Very good concentrated village Chassagne white. Good time to drink up and enjoy.

Started off a bit frumpy but with an hour of air this really blossomed into a gorgeous and rich wine smelling like powdered milk and tasting like creme brulee and churned butter with a lovely tart to keep the richness in check. Decant these babies and let them warm up!! Impressive

powerful. and more obviously so with air. loads of stuffing, and frankly young. the pit fruit is rather furled up, allowing the lactic side of the wine to show through. there is a laser like quality here that seems to tie the tongue. lovely acid finish and starting to get even better the longer open. I suggest decant.

not blind
Disappointing, no length, no depth. Maybe due to the vintage. 88
