Notes of cherry, plum, baking spice, flint, and tomato leaf -- the aromas are subtle and don't exactly jump out of the glass. Medium+ acid and tannins, very well structured. There's a lot of depth developing here, though the nose feels like it's in better focus than the palate. Really long finish that shows great hold. This wine will be really great at some point.

K&L Wines of Burgundy Tasting (K&L Wines, Redwood City, CA): Caramel, dill, cherry, red currant, baking spices, lots of wood notes. Already really lovely and smooth, despite its youth and lack of integration. Needs more time.
