Great apple flavors, fresh and powerful, beautifully supported by minerality and acidity. Long, spicy, classic finish. My wine of the flight, although the Leflaive might be better longer-term.

Decanted for 1 hour. Citrus and honeysuckle, balanced perfectly with minerality, rich and intense and never ending. This is a totally delicious wine and perhaps my favorite Batard maker
