Knockout nose! The aroma just placed me right back in the village listening to the church bells ringing. I reckon that’s as much terroir as anything. Sure it’s a bit Oakier than other producers and definitely more showy than the old mans wines but hey this is contemporary Jobard and I really like it.

La Paulée de NY Grand Tasting (Pier 60 - NYC): The most open in the line up. Rich, ripe and lush fruit that has adequate freshness and lift. Good now and one to enjoy earlier, I think. 90-92

La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Apple and pear throughout with good+ weight. Richer, more powerful than Genevrières, but not as vibrant or finessed. Good now through 2026.
