La Paulée de Meursault (Château de Meursault): Joli vin à la texture aérienne charmante, c’est droit et minéral, tout en subtilité et finesse. Jeune bien sûr mais très fin et déjà adorable! 93 pts

Lovely bottle with ripe black cherry, black currant, raspberry, violet, and lots of classic Vosne spice. Black tea and more floral and spice notes emerge with air; very ripe and powerful on the palate, but retains an elegant feel with a silky texture; long spice tinged finish is excellent; this will continue to develop for easily another decade.

closed up (not unexpected). quite pleasant with good purity and delineation of red fruit. does the job but not a particularly outstanding example of Echezeaux

(from memory) Mixed berry fruits and star anise on the nose, lush and fruit-forward on the palate with strawberry, raspberry, hints of forest floor, spice, mild tannins and medium acidity, finishes a little one-dimensional and dominated by red fruit
Note: my first Lamarche, and unless someone else is paying, don't think there will be a second, weight and style of a Russian River pinot but maybe less cola, and I don't think time is going to improve this Echezeaux, didn't perceive any unresolved structure or stuffing, given the low acidity, it might actually get worse, from what I've read, Lamarche is making efforts to improve quality, this may be a case of, "a camel is a horse designed by a committee," feels engineered

Needs a lot of time to integrate but there is some good quality juice in the bottle.
