Gevrey: Combottes 1er Cru and Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru (Chicago + Zoom): Full nose of mature, classic Gevrey notes of meaty, earthy black cherry with some earthen notes. Good complexity and development if a little lacking in punch, power and length. I'd drink up.

Gevrey-Chambertin Neighbors: Combottes 1er Cru and Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru (Chicagoland IL): Bright enough black cherry with braised meat notes. Also clearly showing Gevrey character, but without the heft and density of Grand Cru.
More recent bottles are drinking better than previous tasting note (92). Fully mature now though, drink up.
Not bad but expected a lot more. Drunk alongside a 2000 Humbert Freres which just blew it away needless to say. Slightly tart with little fruit.
This is mature and drinking very well now and probably at the peak. Very good balance, clean fruit, secondary earthy flavours and soft tannins. Nice.
