A beautiful wine. Deep, rich and complex with all of the classic Barossa Shiraz character you could want. Blackberry sauce, Mulberry, Black Licorice, Sweet Mint, and some pretty purple flowers. There is a touch of restraint here that I find extremely appealing and the fruit deftly manages to tamp down the alcohol. Everything in balance. Though definitely robust and unctuous, the wine does not lose its focus and the flavors have great clarity on the palate.

A classic blockbuster Barossa in the Old Fashioned way; cascades of blackberry, olives, spice - sweet, but not overly sweet, just ripe fruit. Concentrated stuff, better on day two.

Wow, incredibly intense fruit beautifully balanced with sweet, slightly spicy tannins and a long lingering finish. I wish I had more, but then I probably would have opened a second bottle!

Very good. Medium ruby color. Nose and palate of red and black cherries, boysenberry, black plum, black pepper, black licorice, violet, lavender, mint, baking spices (vanilla, coconut, clove), cedar. Hint of smoke. Dry with full body, medium alcohol, medium tannin, medium acidity, medium(+) length. Still developing. Ready to drink now but definitely will benefit form additional aging. Recommended drink window: 2030 to 2040.
