Swiss Cycling Wines (Andermatt): After a couple of less than thrilling bottles with dinner, thought we might try this in a nearby wine bar. Still young, sure, but lovely. Fruit, acidity balanced by great structure and depth. I’m sure this will get better but so lovely now.

way too early (I hope) - somewhat linear both on nose and palate - improved over time (4 hours after pour-out and back to bottle) but simple at its current stage....quality seem to be lurking in the back though...

Decanted 6hrs. Dark ruby purple - looks very young in the glass and not much on the nose either - some ash from the fire and hint of stems. On the palate, medium weight with good concentration of dark, wild fruit. Clean and refreshing but with a slightly wild side that I think will show itself with more age. Drinkable now, but gives the impression there'll be so much more to enjoy in 5 yrs time.

First experience with this producer, but it won’t be my last this was fantastic! Nose of beautiful dark red berries, smoke, subtle oak and some black olive, palate is silky smooth, with really fresh juicy fruit throughout, it’s got structure but so well balanced it can be tough to feel it, really long salivating finish too.
