On opening, and for the first hour or so, the dominant impression was lemon and oak. However, 90 minutes in the Holk relaxed significantly. Throughout, the wine displayed terrific depth and weight, for me displaying a Meursault-like quality. This definitely rewards giving it some air, and it should hold up for at least a couple more years. 89-90

Whoa this is wonderful. Plump, rich and ripe citrus fruit - mostly lemon. Strong mineral backbone. Wet stone. This has the precision of a top notch white Burgundy. I suspect the richness and generosity of the 2018 vintage is keeping it from being too lean. In a way this has the ethereal quality I associate with top Rieslings - delicate, light and pretty. It doesn’t have the depth of an extraordinary wine, but for a Bourgogne I couldn’t expect any better. I’m buying more.

Pnp: sweet oak and lemon, horrible. Thought I was drinking an altogether common CA chard. If there's anything redeeming for this wine it's many years down the road.

Top notch AOC Bourgogne: ripe lemon, a nice backbone, quite good length.
