There is never a problem with this cuvée, one of the best white basic Bourgogne around: mainly citrus, zesty, some orchard fruit (yellow and white), very good.

Been a year since the last bottle. Delicious again. Open. Soft mouth feel. Underlying acidity and structure are present, just more in the background. Quite zesty and lots of stature. Now has a touch more yellow fruits on the palate. Lovely balance. Tightens up with time in the glass. Adds some matchstick, gunflint, smoke and flint characteristics. Lime zest on the palate. Full of stuffing. Very confident this will last many more years. Never fails to deliver.

Bright yellow in the glass. The nose shows pear, lemon, flint, toast and a touch of hay. Some creaminess on the smoke touched, zesty green apple palate. Nice wine with a promising nose and palate. Decent but not a particularly long finish. Drink now.
WSET notes: Pale lemon.
Med+ intensity on the nose with pear, peach, lemon, smoke, cream, flint, toast and hay. Developing.
Med+ intensity and dry on the palate. Medbody, med alcohol, high acidity, med finish.
Drink now. Not suitable for further aging.

Simply classic. If this was Meursault it would be young, but very good. But Bourgogne … stellar. Lovely aromas and flavors of orchard fruit with citrus notes. Really could use more time, but delicious now with 60 minutes open.

Citrus (mix of orange zest and lemon), apple and some white pepper. As usual a top notch basic Bourgogne.
