Brambly red fruit core. Pours a darker red with some youthful violet overtones. Palate of this wine is brambleberry cola. Just delicious. Finishes with a little black pepper, but just enough to make the food you are enjoying this with even more enjoyable. Tonight this was served with chicken thighs, Italian cut green beans and Greek white rice. Still finishes with quite a bit of astringency, making me think that the one 2014 that I have is probably much more ready to go than the remainder of these 2015's, although if you do have to pop the cork on these I would definitely tell you that you probably need to decant this wine for 1 to 2 hours before enjoying.

Brambly red fruit core, medium+ bodied wine with a touch of red cherry cola and tobacco. Finishes with a medium amount of pepper. A little bit of stuff neutral oak tannin but nothing that detracted from the wine. This wine will go with a host of foods. Went well with a baked paprika chicken and banza chickpea rice and went well with a charcuterie aperitif. No secondary or tertiary characters noted here, so this wine is good to hold or enjoy with minimal decant!

Drank with Bruce and epic streaks with Madeira truffle sauce. Double yummy.

Solid wine and depth, but came off a bit...watery?

Wow.... This is rich viscous and even spice laden. Totally surprised that this is a merlot.
