excellent nose and perfume. darker, mineral-laden pinot. nice mid weight wine. very fine tannins. i'd say drinking perfectly now, and wouldn't wait much longer here.

Really should have held this longer, not that there's any issue with drinking it now, it's just still so young and primary.
Aromas of red cherry, cranberry, blackberry, salty pithy citrus preserves, rosehips, cured meats, pine forest... this is so very very Pinot. Full and sneakily dense on the palate, this is supple and juicy for a second before it turns to myriad earthy, herbal and floral tones, and the fruit becomes more tart and crunchy. Long perfumed finish; sweet red cherry and pleasantly bitter seedy blackberry spar, while so many engaging piney, leafy and floral tones (is that a touch of lapsang suchong?) provide engaging non-fruit intrigue. I would guess Burgundy in a blind setting, either Morey or Gevrey, I should think... This will evolve positively for many years, I would love to see what's going on here in 2033.

Big billowing nose of sweet red cherry, cranberry, overripe orange, pine forest, mushrooms, mint, nougat... spicy and ripe, lots of rich cherry notes, supple tannins, fresh acids, silky texture, relatively soft and warm for Eyrie, but overall very elegant and lively. Long and spicy, nice pine and airy baking spice lingering with layers of cherry notes. This will evolve and improve for a decade, maybe longer. Gorgeous Pinot.
