I have had a couple of these white Burgundies lying around supposedly waiting for the occasion that never arrives. Well I just opened it anyway in the end. A warm gold color which almost invariably means oxidation. Yes there is a patina of age but thankfully not overly much. Minerality galore, a luscious mouthfeel, crisp acidity with some lingering citrus notes. I suspect it was better a few years back.

Lifted nose of delicate white flowers, some seashell qualities. Hints of kiwi and apples. Really delicate and smooth on the palate. Almost creamy mouthfeel. A touch light on acid but very well balanced. Super.
