  • Uncorked and left for a couple of hours. Clear terracotta. Slight rubber wafts which blew off quickly. A simple and pleasing sweetness at first, but, as I've found with these old 'humble' bottles, the body and complexity increase from glass to glass. (Is this an objective evolution of the wine or just a palate refocusing?) By the end ethereal silky dark fruits. Lovely. Served with lots of cheese and Fauré.
