  • Ripe, tasty pinot. Maybe a bit international in style (i.e. generic) and it didn't evoke Carneros the way some pinots from that appellation do. But overall a good buy for $20ish and can serve as a party wine or weekday drinker.

  • Bought this at Ike’s Wine and Spirits at Park Place Promenade in Brooklyn Park, MN
Color is youthful purply garnet, clear as gemstone, sheer, transparent, not a spec of sediment in the glass or inside the bottle, which is cork sealed, apparently stored upright on the shelf in the climate-controlled (and Minnesota winter chilled) store Isac keeps meticulously clean).
Nose is friskie, musky, animal, freshly field-dressed wild doe, warm fur, this had a heartbeat 42 minutes ago!
The fruit gushes like warm blood, all tight, bright red cherry juice, like cherry stones rolling around in my mouth.
Mouthfeel is plush, like delicate suade.
    Caressing, lovely.
Fresh juniper berries perfume this lean sleek, California Carneros Princess.
This is the stunning mysterious Nicole Kidman of wine. Coppola is proud.

  • Drank at Capital Grille, Naples, FL. Nothing special, just an average CA Pinot that should be priced in mid-teens, not mid-20's.
