Testing this wine for Thanksgiving 2024. Decanted for sediment.
Day 1: Baking spice and a little barnyard aromas on opening, eventually giving way to ripe raspberry. Flavors of ripe raspberry and minerals... with baking spices playing hide-and-seek.
Day 2: Ripe red cherries
Finish is more pronounced than the nose, so likely still has some aging potential. Will work as an option for the Thanksgiving meal.

Enjoyed this Gamay. Dark berries, a bit of mineral and spice. Definitely has depth and stands up to some heartier foods. Smooth on the palette and pleasant on the nose.

Nice wine with food, I like the fruit and it’s got a good amount of acidity.
