I'm generally a BIG fan of this wine of Mark's but I found the residual sugar a bit high on this bottle. Fizzy when first opened (nothing a good solid shaking couldn't handle) then a bit sweet. Had the body/texture he aims for but I couldn't shake the sweetness. Minus points for that.

Pale gold color. Drank two glasses on consecutive days. Wet stone, light apple nose. The palate has a fair bit of dry extract, apple, white citrus, taut stoney minerality and spice on the finish. Perfect for shellfish and oysters.

Tasted on day 2. Light golden color with a bit of spritz. Much more body than I would expect from a Pinot Blanc. Mostly are light and vapid but not this. Must have sat on the lees for some time. A hint of floral notes on the nose. Ripe melon fruit on the palate. A hint of residual sweetness. Some minerality. Decent persistence on the palate. Good balance. Medium acid.

Good apple aromas and flavors with good depth, but just ending with a slightly bitter finish.

Lemon notes. Zesty acidity. Pretty rich mouth feel for a Pinot Blanc. Not thin like others I have drank. Medium finish
