  Deep crimson in colour with notes of wild violets, liquorice, some mushrooms, toffee, slightly tannin but very well balanced, and a very smooth finish.

  Bright, fresh, unoaked thirst quencher. Red plums and some pleasing black tea bitterness and spritziness make this a nice quaffer. Also good with simple food because of the fresh acidity but very short flavoured and expensive for what it is. Presumably there's a premium for it being organic? £10.99, Wholefoods.
