Third Coast Soif (Chicago, IL): Ripe and big, no secret there. Lots of complexity on the palate, with some notes of tart apples (not something you find in this appellation all the time). Good intensity, with low, but I would say sufficient acids. Never been much a fan of the appellation, but these two Domaine du Closel wines were great.

Tasted after the excellent 2016 La Jalousie, this is another step up. Floral, rich on the nose, very vibrant and intense on the palate. Mineral, fresh. The finish is outstanding. 93-94+

Outstanding wine, just beginning to come alive. Concentrated apple pie flavours long finish, will continue to evolve

More extract, more complexity, shows a little more viscous and honied on the palate. Excellent.
