Garnache?? This tastes much more like one of Terre Nere’s offerings made from Nerello Mascalese grown on the slopes of Mt Etna in Sicily. Very lightly colored. Highly perfumed. Chery (but not cola), strawberry, minerality and plenty of acid. Unusual and tasty.

Bitter, unmistakeable alcohol penetrates the thin and -granted - nervy grenache surface. I not only found this ridiculously overpriced but also a goodbye to grenache altogether.

Gained beauty, breadth, and nuance with an hour in the dedanter. Super on its own and especially with tapas and pintxos. -2026.

potpourri gathering (JS's): Prominent strawberries. Red fruits. Delightful fruit. Some herbal complexity. Unmistakably grenache; classy.

Lots of cherries and a hint of tanins.
