Quite a bit of reduction on day one. This was much more charming on day two with red fruit and sap. Not as much spice as I wanted. Not as precocious as other 17s right now. Held up for day three but had started to fall off.

Pale ruby, pronounced nose. Red fruits, plum, figs, prune, blossom, violet. Medium+ body, intensity and finish. High tannin and acidity. Tasted at Domaine Méo-Camuzet.
France and Italy - May 6 to May 10, 2019: Fig, sandalwood, black tea, paprika, dried lavender. Succulent fruit on the attack, richly structured secondary core of crushed stone and earth spices. Seamless and elegant. Fine tannin. Expansive finish. Outstanding.

Domaine Méo-Camuzet Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 9, Visit 3) (Vosne-Romanée): Barrel tasting at the domaine. Red cherry and berry with ripeness and emerging floral charm. So engaging in every way, with very good length, weight and balance. 93-95 point potential. This was served to us blind, and I couldn't decide if I thought it Brulées or Richebourg.
