Raspberries citrus dusty nose with a bit of meat juice. Light garnet color with smooth palate a bit oxidized but gentle paste of fruits. Nice wine with plenty of fruit and nice acidity that won’t get in the way.

Very oaky at first, but it integrated after a 5 hour decant. Supple fruit dominated the palate, and this was an enjoyable if uncomplicated village burg. Doesn’t have the iron element that I equate with Pommard, but it still tastes richer than some recent 1er Cru’s from lesser villages.

A “berry” delicious wine. We enjoyed this Burgundy for my husband’s birthday and paired it with roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Decanting and large Burgandy wine glasses enhanced the taste. Featured berries both on the nose and on the pallet. Would recommend but may have needed another year or two to smooth out the ages.

Probably drank it too soon, but it was a very good bottle with a good expression of fruit, sour cherry, and a touch of leather with enough tannin. Felt a little tight but probably would open up well with more age.
