Retail $16 (375ml). 98% Sémillon, 1% Sauvignon Blanc, 1% Muscadelle. Cadillac is one of the Sauternes satellite appellations and is the sister winery of the better-known Château Lamothe. Roughly 80% of the wine is botrytized, so while certainly present, not over-whelming and allowing for some freshness. Beautiful golden color in the glass with honeyed mandarin orange and fresh ginger on the nose. The palate is lovely, tart, and sweet. I chose to pair this with a Texas-sized ribeye and it held up exceedingly well. thedrunkencyclist.com

A nice value in this little half bottle—the 2016 Château Manos is pale lemon yellow in the glass with blooming aromas of poached pear, apricot skin, orange blossom, and granulated honey. This Semillon-dominant blend is round and lush on the palate, and while not as botrytis-laden or rich as some—there is nice purity of fruit at the core that is neatly bisected by vibrant acidity. 13.5% ABV | Sample

Very pale yellow. 95% Sem with the rest divided between SB and Muscadelle. Overtly sweet with a top layer of plain sugar backed up only by faint notes of lemon and clover honey. No botrytis.

Cotes de Bordeaux Trip; 7/23/2019-7/27/2019: Aromas of orange peel, honey, candied ginger. Waxy, apricot jam, medium-low acidity. Plush and rich but shows complexity already.
