  Drinking great. Finish needs a tad more but still great wine

  Deep ruby to deep purple, black currant, black plum, earth, cedar, eucalyptus, and black licorice on the nose, plump on the attack with rolling layers of black and red fruit, earth, and spice, with medium plus acidity, and medium plus tannins, finish is forever, with layers of complex dark fruits, dark chocolate, mocha, black tea, streaks of minerality, and on and on, wow
  
  Note: purchased four years ago at the winery, provenance always makes a difference

  maybe the potential is there? But it is a tannic, acidic, monster with thin layers of fruit that were slowly coaxed out as it sat in the decanter longer and longer. The wine is so incredibly brooding and wound up I strongly suggest you wait at least 10 years before trying because it is currently infanticide to drink this wine in my opinion.
