  • Another excellent bottle of this wine. Dinking beautifully now.

  • Double-decanted 9 hours prior to dinner. Very pale in color. Spicy red berries on the nose, light bodied on the palate with delicate, subtle nebbiolo flavors of fresh cherry, violets, and and a subtle bit of cracked pepper. Love the delicacy here, very Burgundian in this warm vintage. Don't have experience with cooler Valtellina vintages, but i'd take this over V-8 anyday

  • I would never have guessed this wine as coming from a hot vintage like '03. Mature and drinkable now, but this should hold for five or so years. Light ruby color, enticing aromas of red berries and cut flowers. Well-rounded on the palate, with more red frut and a nice streak of earth. Nicely balanced tannin and acidity. Great food wine, and a ridiculous value. I bought more of this the next day.
