SLDS September 2020: Roses, cherry, spice and smoky. Rippling tannins, intense and full fruit with lots of structure backing it up. Obviously needs a lot of time, but the potential is there for sure.

Day 1 - Pronounced nose, with lots of mushroom/truffle. Savoury, meaty with floral notes. Feels rather developed for a rather young wine.
Day 2 - Mushroom, umami note still dominates, touch of cola, underlying fig, dates. Palate shows as nose. Rich with surprisingly sweet fruits. CHewy tannin but lots of concentration. Something slightly lacking here - extra lift? Tension? Still pleasant.
