Probably time to drink these up. Kicking off just a bit of sediment. Thorough bricking. Good leather note and dried red fruit in the old world way. It opened up after 30 minutes in the decanter. Good treat.

Tasted like old burgundy that was fading. Still had cherries on the nose. Fruit was waning as was finish. Last bottle of a case which was better in its youth.

An old Burgundy to be sure, aromas of beef, bacon, soy sauce, and interestingly a hint of copper. This wine needs time open up, but as it does it develops dark cherry fruit. The finish lasts literally for a mintue and a half. True quality.
