  • I remember tasting the wines from this domaine 15 years ago, and it was over the top. Recently a friend insisted I should taste again, as now in his own words, this is "very burgundian". I asked him: is your creme brulee burgundian too ? Well I had to taste again anyway, the wine is obviously very well made, there is very good balance, freshness, and plenty of soft tannins along a dense and silky fruit... But wait a second, why should I pay $250 for that wine when similar wines from this region can be bought for half ? This wine may be worth after 20 years of cellar time though, and this is a great effort from a passionate producer... I went on to find his blog, and read many of his wrtitings. To cut it short, this is definitely worth trying.

  • A little too intense currently. Slight new world feel. Needs to settle down. Great wine.
