  Deep crimson/ruby. Robust style but it has softened nicely with time. A complex but intense nose - some ripe black cherries, restrained oak, a bit of spice, some roses, leather and mushrooms. Medium to full bodied for a pinot, it has good structure and harmony, nice long finish and velvety tannins. This still has at least a couple more years in it, maybe more. Excellent.
