A great time to open this, just pop and poured but improved with air. Bricking hue, very smooth on the palatte with dusty red cherries with nice weight, earthy forest, a lovely balance of fruit, spice and acidity. Not a complex blockbuster but a very well made Burgundy.

(Vougeraie Nuits St.Georges Les Corvées Pagets) Medium cherry colour. The nose has sweet red fruit. The tannin is strong, though velvety. Good acidity with a trace of vanilla on the good finish. Very refined.

Showing great -- spicy soy/balsamic meets forest floor and black truffle.. But retains great fruit and balance.
