Well balanced blend of oak, citrus and fruit Not the concentration or power I would expect from a GC Batard but no less enjoyable. Smooth and silky on the palate with a nose that promises mire Batard than Puligny. Drinking well now but should last

Already very approachable. Very refined nose, elegant, the ageing is already mostly integrated and not overly present. Similar fashion on the palare, very nice balance, ample, not “in your face”, sliky. It’s beautiful but could have expected slightly more depth and intensity

Pale lemon. Puligny style. Refreshing, restrained now with fresh lemon, peach, flinty minerals, hint of toasted hazelnut and just right amount of oak. Delineated and focus.

Tasted after 2017 C-M Les Caillerets. Lovely nose - lots of depth, delicacy, but also concentration and power. Fresh, mineral, dense and layered on the palate, rich and creamy with wonderful precision and minerality. Powerful, fresh, saline finish. Very long and lingering. 94-95+

Tasted after Chassagne-Montrachet La Maltroie. A big step up in terms of complexity, depth and elegance. Very layered on the nose, generous fruit, lemon oil, crushed stones, melted butter. Super pure and vibrant on the palate, immaculately well balanced, mineral, fresh, rich, dense. Powerful finish - very persistent and fine. 94-95+
