Started out promisingly. Very tightly packed slight oakiness. Wait for a bit of air to hopefully break this open. After looking like a very good wine early never gained any weight or power. A bit harsh but I would suggest this a "Boring-Montrachet" rather than a Batard. Having tasted other great wines from this climat/vintage this was a disappointment. Sound bottle too.

Golden yellow; sherry notes; oxidized, but not ruined, sweet oxidized tones; compared to a criots batard montrachet, same year and producer, but not oxidized, very different (of course)
