Vivino - Singapore "chapter" (the opening) (Imperial Treasure, Great World City): This was the 2nd wine that was poured. A slightly caramelized nose (oxidized?), with scent of stewed-fruits as well. After some time and some swirling in the glass, the caramelized nose blew off to reveal notes of flowers, honey. On the palate, this was much broader and weightier than the Silex. The bright acidity kept the rich fruits in check and maintained the balance of the wine. However, this seemed to "drop-off" after some time in the glass. Given the "signs" - caramelized nose, palate dropping-off, I would like to try another bottle to see if this is a one-off(?)...

From a magnum, this was lean and clean, a really beautiful wine with great promise. It is young today, but yet is showing what I look for in great white Burgundy - tightness, precision, no excess fat, good minerality and lots of lemon-lime acidity but with enough balancing fruit. Lovely wine.

Decanted too late but opened in glass after half hour. Powerful, almost searing sweetness quickly mellowed into a light amey honey with a super long finish. Superb. 93+

Ett stort vin. Imponerande kraft men ändå full balans.

This is still a young tight wine but with great potential. And with some air it opens up somewhat and shows off its quality. I like.
