Very outstanding elegant wine! Clear, bright and shining next to the light. Lemon, stones and other subtle fruit on the nose. Popped and poured, did not decant. Saliva inducing, delicious acid on the tongue, apple, pear and hints of lemon. Brisk and clean, no oak present. Lengthy finish gives the mouth a softer transition as you swallow. A complete, balanced and elegant wine. Although young, this wine does the job. Probably will retain its character for many years to come. Drank with a veal chop and Lyonnaise potatoes.

Tasted after 2018 1er Cru La Maltroie. Lots of reduction on the nose and a little nervous and edgy on the palate. Very dense, very mineral, good acidity with lots of ripe, creamy fruit. This should come together nicely, but was difficult to assess at this early stage. 92-94+?

Consumed at the hotel COMO Montrachet in Puligny; 1/2 a bottle, so was aging faster. Just an outstanding wine that will only get better with time
