Nice citrus and light vanilla combination on the nose. Repeats on the palate with good freshness, and again with some line/green edges, adding freshness and puckering to the palate. More resolved toward the back, though not without interest and energy. Lovely and preferred this to the 11' Pernot BBM. However, this suffered some from being served too cold to start.

Light golden with nose of white flowers and hint of oak spice. Sweet on palate, just enough acidity to balance an otherwise too sweet for a white wine here. Mouth coating concentration of wild flowers aroma and light honey. Minerality from mid palate throughout to finishing provided vibrancy. Begin to drink well but seems still have plenty of life ahead.

A very solid expression of Batard. Not as ample and velvety as some more established producers of that period, but a very clean and soft wine, with high purity. Bottle condition was "good" (it had been sourced at a US auction). I will gladly open my other bottles of this wine.

Advanced, but still very much alive, big, grand, explosive white burgundy, very exciting
