Pale white gold. Nose of fulsome acacia blossom, white stone, flint, saline, grapefruit, apple slices. Layers of tart white citrus, granny apple, tingling stone, and bits of steel on the delicious palate. Bright acidity and righteous spine. Long finish of cool grapefruit and tart apple centered on stone. Beautiful with cracked Dungeness.

This is a delicious wine! Pale straw in color with an incisive nose centered on grapefruit oils and golden gooseberry, then a deeper malty nose of fresh brioche. Tart and laser-like in the palate, a vivid, clean, lifted expression of white burgundy. Ends on a slightly bitter note that punctuates the finish nicely. One of the best wines I can remember from Fichet. I bet it will age well too! I’ll go with 93 right now, but could easily merit a higher score if it can evade premox and develop in the cellar for ten or fifteen years.

Toujours aussi bon! Quel nez aromatique et typé avec une bouche toujours aussi équilibrée et savoureuse. 92-93

Blind horizontal tasting of 14 Meursault village 2017 and 1 Chassagne village 2017 as a joker: Blind. Seemed to have a bit of reductive elements at the beginning but air blew it off and left with a nice balanced wine that showed great winemaking.
