Tasting @Paitin, winery of the b&b we're staying at. This is their south facing Nebbiolo vineyard. In fact very different tastewise from their east/west side vineyard. Less ripened fruit up front but more wood and than the fruits kick in. Overall more balanced and elegant earthy and leathery notes. Less structured or stringent in tannins. Really good stuff and also a longer persistance.
