What a delicious wine! We put a cup in our French onion soup and had the rest with dinner. It was lovely. Good chardonnay fruit (citrus and apple) with decent mineral on the finish. Very good with our fried mussels --became rounder -- but not with the French onion soup. After being open a while it got more lemon on the finish.
We paid $13 at a good retailer (cool store / storage). I thought it was a bargain and the wine was still in great drinking range. I see people paid as little as $9 / bottle upon release: that is just a steal! Good QPR.

Finally got around to trying this French Chardonnay. Quite nice. Clear, pale yellow with lots of opening citrus. Minerals kick in and leave a clean finish. Nicely complemented a roast chicken and even stood up to Brussel Sprouts; not an easy task.

Very nice complement to "beer-can chivcken". Nice light color, crisp opening and a ice balance between mineral and fruit. Classic French Chardonnay.

Decent value, but not too complex. Could be my fault for serving a little too cold, but was meant for uncritical drinking anyway.

Decent value but not terribly interesting. Not much on the nose. Subdued butter and apple flavours. Some steel on the finish.
