A very simple but pleasant Chardonnay with a light yellow color and a smooth aroma and flavor of mainly white fruit and slight minerality and citrus. Great pairing with sautéed trout for lunch. Fine as appetizer with spinach dip also. 85-86

I loved the ‘14 of this at $12. The ‘15 wasn’t as good and, if I bought it in full case (I did), I could get it for $14. Now I’m trying this at around $15.50 and again it’s not as good as the prior vintage. Snowbirding here in Florida, I’m drinking mainly whites and struggling to find a consistent “house white” for everyday use, especially as it’s getting warmer. I drank my way through my local shop’s supply of Drouhin’s ‘15 St Veran. Asked the owner to order more in, acknowledging it would likely be the ‘16. But the old guy seems to have lost it, he looks at me each time as if he’s never seen me before, even though he’s ordered stuff in for me the past3 winters. I need a new plan. Total wine is a total joke. Sam’s Club has no Burgundy of any sort. Will try a nearby place called Lukens as they run a big ad. Anyhow, this wine is pale as water, showing some minerality and loads of acid. Pretty rough stuff. I MISS MY CELLAR!!!!!!

Apricot and citrus on the nose, light toast and pear on the palate, nice mouth feel, long finish with some minerality and pleasant acidity.

Great value white burgundy. This was very smooth and had hints of some higher-value complexity. I would definitely buy again.
