BTG at 101 Talbot in Dublin, IE. Fairly standard for the Maconnais region at this price point. Medium lemon color. Leads with white pear, melon, tropical fruit and light vanilla. More acidity would have added to the somewhat weak finish.

Nose - clean, youthful, very vibrant. Medium plus intensity. Notes of lemon curd, smells like a lemon meringue pie filling. You get some of the buttery crust. Baking spices, but they are secondary to the LeMon curd. Pick up a bit of spearmint on nose.
Palate- very vibrant. Acidity is medium plus. Wine is fresh tasting. Lots of that lemon curd flavor. Ripe sweet and acidic. Dances on palate. Finish is medium plus. It’s a juicy wine. Body is medium plus. It tastes balanced and is drinking nicely.
I like this wine. I suspect I over paid a bit (in the $20s NYC pricing) so if you can get it in the teens this is a very good buy. Can see this pairing with a range of foods, fish, seafood, chicken, even a pork dish. Alcohol is medium and integrated. Screw cap makes it appear less but adds to the convenience. I would buy this again.

Yellow-gold. Smelled lemon and apple with some white flowers; in the mouth it leaned fruity with a little bite, but could've used more concentration. Finishes medium-minus with the lemon again.
